Mother's Day at Portobello

Portobello, the Italian countryside trattoria in the center of Disney Springs will shower moms with a delectable 3-course meal that starts with a fresh spring salad with Field Greens and almonds topped with a vanilla vinaigrette followed up Grilled Salmon with fettucine pasta and a citrus reduction. To give mom a sweet treat to finish the meal, Chef Cristobal Lopez is serving a bright and fruity key lime cannoli with blackberry sauce.

Local beers from the Orlando Brewing, Florida’s only certified organic brewery. The ingredients used in crafting these ales are grown without insecticides, bioengineering, or irradiation and are officially certified Organic by the USDA. These beers are the only ones declared “Fresh From Florida” by the State’s Department of Agriculture. With the inspiration of Chef Tony Mantuano, Chef/Partner at Spiaggia, and the collaboration of Portobello Executive Chef, Steven Richard, they have created an innovative dessert call biramisu. Just in time for Oktoberfest, the biramisu is Portobello’s very own variation of the traditional tiramisu. The biramisu incorporates a local organic porter from Orlando Brewing in a one of a kind dessert that I am sure you will agree is uniquely superb.
